Our Story

GoodTurtle began with a simple yet powerful idea: to empower street vendors and bring dignity to their livelihoods. 

Hi, I’m Jebin Koshy Sabu, the founder of Good Turtle. I’ve worn many hats—a mechanical engineer, a product manager in IT, and now, a lawyer. But the most formative experience? Running a food cart business called "Under the Hood" during my college days in Bangalore.

I experienced firsthand the hardships of street vending—the fierce competition, harassment from authorities, and the constant struggle for stability in an unorganized sector. It wasn’t easy, but it sparked a vision: to create tools and systems that support vendors and make their lives better.

At Good Turtle, we’re turning that vision into reality. Our mission is simple:

Build smart, electric carts that vendors love.

Push for legal protections and support for hawkers.

Bring dignity and sustainability to street vending.
